Kim Kardashian goes solo in TikTok
Kim
Kardashian has created her own TikTok profile.
The
41-year-old reality star, who joined the video sharing platform with her
eight-year-old daughter North West five months ago, has now set up her own
account, which went live on Monday (04.25.22). Kim already has over three
million followers, but she only follows 11 in return. Her first video, which
has received 1.4 million views, was simply captioned "Hey guys."
The video
features hairstylist Chris Appleton and makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, both
of whom are seen with their respective tools. The audio track inquires:
"So you're a painter? Are you skilled at it?" The pair nod, and the
video cuts to Kim, who is wearing a ponytail and full face of makeup and
striking poses for the camera. Kim's fans flooded the platform's comment
section with messages of welcome.
"DAMMN
QUEEN SLAYYY (sic)" wrote one.
"THE
QUEEN HAS ARRIVED," said another.
Kim and
North joined TikTok in November and have since shared a slew of videos
featuring Kourney Kardashian's daughter Penelope Disick and Khloe Kardashian's
daughter True. Although Kim appears to be a pro in her latest video, she
previously admitted to feeling uneasy on the platform. She stated in a previous
episode of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians': "It's difficult for me
because I'm not a good dancer. I'd like to, but I don't have the time."
Kim, who
has North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm with estranged husband Kanye West, previously
revealed that her eldest daughter intentionally makes fun of their home when
she wants to upset her. "Every time I have a disagreement with my daughter
North, she thinks it's a dig at me and says, 'Your house is so ugly,'" she
explained. It's completely white. 'Who lives in such a way?'
"She
just thinks it irritates me and is kind of mean because I like my house."
