Uncle Waffles gets a co-sign from Drake, who also posts a video of her performance on Instagram.


After her viral performance video went popular on social media last year, Uncle Waffles entered the Amapiano world like a storm. It created quite a stir, and she went on to land some of the biggest deals and influence in the entertainment world as a result. Young Stunna has honored her with the song Adiwele, which is one of her favorites. 

Uncle Waffles has been formally co-signed by Drake, the world's best hit creator and musician, according to artist management firm kreativeKornerr. This comes after her incredible tour performance. Her debut EP, Red Dragon, was released just a month ago and has received a lot of attention from music streaming services. Tanzania and Love I Need are two of the EP's standout tracks.

What does it mean to co-sign?

This word is the subject of much dispute and misunderstanding. We've decided to spell out exactly what this implies for you. Basically, it's when a well-known (commercially) artist recognizes a lesser-known artist by giving them a shout-out to show that they are aware of what they are doing. It's not the first time Drake has shown his admiration for Uncle Waffles' work. Some have begun to question his actions when he followed her on Instagram and gave her a shout-out on her IG live. Uncle Waffles also expressed her delight on Twitter when this was brought to her attention.

Dj Sbu allegedly swindling Zahara's money earned him a six-figure lawsuit?

  It all started when Khawula shared on his Twitter page that Zahara’s music award trophies were stolen during a home invasion. Six of Zahara's music awards have reportedly been stolen during a burglary at her home in Ruimsig; Roodepoort. Khawula made a damning statement alluding to DJ Sbu being involved in the burglary. He wrote; “DJ Sbu who is rumoured to have sent his thug friends to steal 6 of Zahara's awards sets to release 10 NFT pieces on the 30th April 2022.
