The children- siblings who were aged , 7 and 2 as well as a 43-year-old woman were burned beyond recognition at the Marathon informal settlement on Sunday night ( 01 May 2022)  "Last night's incident was tragic. On search and rescue, we found the three bodies of the three siblings and they died at the same time. The mother had minor injuries. We are aware the 43 year old woman was from the other shack as the fire spread violently across," Emergency Services spokesperson William Ntladi said. The actual case of the fire is alleged to have been a paraffin stove which was left unattended.   It all started when Khawula shared on his Twitter page that Zahara’s music award trophies were stolen during a home invasion. Six of Zahara's music awards have reportedly been stolen during a burglary at her home in Ruimsig; Roodepoort. Khawula made a damning statement alluding to DJ Sbu being involved in the burglary. He wrote; “DJ Sbu who is rumoured to have sent his thug friends to steal 6 of Zahara's awards sets to release 10 NFT pieces on the 30th April 2022. Advocate Malesela Teffo released on R10 000 bail

The advocate was granted a bail of R10 000 after being dramatically arrested after court proceedings at the Senzo Meyiwa trial concluded on Thursday at the Pretoria High Court. His arrest was after he failed to appear before the Hillbrow Magistrate's Court in relation to charges of assault and trespassing on the 27th January, the day on which the court also issued a warrant of arrest. The accused's lawyer, Tshepo Thobane said that Teffo had Covid-19 which resulted in him not attending the course by then and this was communicated to the investigating officer and the prosecutor. State prosecutor Mzwandile Nkabinde never opposed the bail application as he said Teffo's release was in the best interest of justice. The prosecutor first proposed a bail amount of R5 000, which Thobane (Teffo's lawyer) asked to be reduced to R4 000. The presiding off...

She made the announcement through social media posts, saying that she has suffered quite several years of abuse from Black Motion star Bongani Mahosana who is famously known as Murdah Bongz on social media. She claims that Mahosana has been blocking her from showcasing her talent. Xoli also claims that Bongani Mahosana’s hate towards her has made her life a living hell and wants to quite the industry. In further explaining her situation she further says she has been tolerating the abuse as she had plans to showcase her talent. Her allegations have received mixed emotions from social media users. The festival showcases arts, culture, and various sports disciplines. The Free State Department of Sports, Arts and Culture has announced that Mangaung Arts and Cultural Festival (Macufe), will be making its return in 2022 having seen a two-year absence as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak which has affected the whole world for over a year. In 2021 the idea of having a virtual Macufe never materialized as planned by the department. The Free State premier SiSi Ntombela has made it clear that the 2022 version of Macufe will take place this year as it forms part of her plans for the province in the year 2022.
